FAQs
Is cold plunging safe for my athlete?
Yes — when done appropriately and optionally.
At Chill, cold is never required. Athletes control temperature, time, and whether they do cold at all. Many first-time athletes choose sauna with a couple quick dips in the plunge.
We focus on comfort, control, and recovery — not extremes.
Does my athlete have to do cold to benefit?
No. Infrared sauna and red light therapy alone provide meaningful recovery benefits including:
Muscle relaxation
Improved circulation
Stress reduction
Cold is simply an option, not a requirement.
How long are sessions?
Most sessions are 20–30 minutes, making them easy to fit between school, practice, and family schedules.
There’s no pressure to stay longer than feels comfortable.
What do I need to bring?
Bring a swimsuit and water bottle. We provide towels, bathroom with shower, and water fountain. We sell a variety of hydration drinks as well.
